If I could give them no stars I would. This company is a waste of time only reason they still in business probably all the hidden fees they charge the drivers. If you don't have anywhere else to go still don't come here go flip burgers. They don't believe in safety, they a small company but you feel more like a number here than anywhere I've been. The equipment is old and run down looks as if it's held together with duck tape and best wishes.
1. The trucks that they provide are not cleaned.
3. They do not teach you company policies and procedures during orientation. You are basically on your own after orientation unless you know someone that works for the company.
I like it, been here 6 months it's had it's ups and downs but they have gone the extra mile to make sure I had what I needed. Good miles, great pay and friendly faces!
They need more details at orientation. Maybe an employee handbook. Also each department head should give a presentation.
We were called out to do a repair on a trailer that the company refused to load when we got to truck repaired truck and then they refused to pay the bill hope everyone at core trans can sleep good at night knowing how they screw people. Advise to anyone who deals with them get money first.
5. If you leave the company they will charge you different fees that was not discussed. Basically they will charge you fees so they will not have to pay you anything.
This my personal experience with the company. I was so frustrated with the company and I did tell them my concern, but they DID NOT CARE. Therefore when I got back to Kentucky I dropped off their load and left their truck. I am a realistic person and will give a company the benefit of the doubt, but believe me you would do much better working for a company that cares about your safety and well being while on the road versus a company that ONLY CARES ABOUR REVENUE.
6. Last but not least, THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR EMPLOYEES.
