On December 3, 2015 a contact was signed to list our property with agent Vicki Hines. As we are listing the property from out of town, my family and I entrusted Ms. Hines to follow through with her obligation to meet simple service requirements such as taking photos of the property, showing the home, executing the proposed marketing plan through MLS and honoring her fiduciary responsibility.
On February 10, 2016, we confirmed that Vicki had failed to fulfill her obligation to market the home on MLS. She also confirmed that no photos had been taken of the property. A letter of termination and release of contract was signed and responsibility was transferred to a reputable firm.
Following this experience, I cannot in good conscience recommend this agency.
On January 15, 2016, while visiting Key Realty in spontaneous follow up, we were dismayed to learn that Vicki had neither listed the property nor fulfilled any of her contractual obligations. She offered at that time to allow us to terminate the contract stating “she would understand”. The decision was made to overlook this breach of contract and entrust her yet again to list the property and execute the marketing plan.
